BONNIE HOWLETT BILISOLY, daughter of Dr. R.E. Howlett and Margaret Reed Howlett, was born February 22, 1910, at the Howlett Farm on the Gasconade River.
Bonnie departed this life on March 27, 2013, in her own home in Richland, Missouri, as she wished. As a child she attended the Methodist Church and at an early age joined the Richland Methodist Church.
She attended Southwest Missouri State Teacherís College for two years. She trained at St. Anthony Hospital, Denver, Colorado and became a registered X-Ray Technologist, later a lab technician.
In 1937, she married Melvin W. Evans. One daughter, Marca Evans Pekar, was born of this union. In 1947, Bonnie married David L. Bilisoly.
As a child she was interested in creative writing. She considered herself fortunate to have had religious and regional magazines purchase her efforts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Leo; one sister, Ruby; her husband Mel; her brothers, Ray, Reed, Clay, Roger (R.G.) and husband David Bilisoly.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Marca Pekar; grandson, John Thomas Pekar; granddaughters, Bonnie Dunnavant and Margaret Pekar; one sister, Margaret Howlett Campbell; nieces and nephews and valued friends.
