“Let the children come to me and do not hinder them, the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these”
DARION ELI BECKLEY, son of Jason Eli and Claudina “Dina” Webster Beckley, was born March 16, 2000, in Osage Beach, Missouri and entered the gates of Heaven on August 21, 2013, at the age of thirteen years.
Darion was a student at Lebanon Junior High, and had begun his eighth grade year. He was actively involved in sports and excelled at all of them, pushing himself to the limit to be the best he could be. He was #48 on the football team, he also played baseball and ran track.
Darion was not only a talented athlete, but also took great pride in his school work. He was part of the A+ Program and consistently made straight A’s through school.
Darion was adored by teachers and classmates. His fun-loving nature made it easy for him to make friends and his ability to make people smile was unmatched.
Darion managed to “make things look easy.” He was not only smart, but he seemed to accomplish things with little effort. In fact, during deer season, he was known as the “30 minute deer slayer,” because he always killed his deer during the first thirty minutes.
Although sports and school took up a majority of his time, Darion also enjoyed playing video games. However, time spent with his friends and family is what he enjoyed most.
Darion made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Community Baptist Church with his family.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Claudina “Dina” and Matthew Travis, of Lebanon, MO and Jason Beckley and Michelle Cabanes, of Waynesville, MO; one sister, Taylor Madison Beckley; one step-sister, Daisy Travis, both of Lebanon; maternal
grandparents, Claudie and Fern Webster of Camdenton, MO; paternal grandparents, Susan Wilson and Pat of Lebanon, MO; step-grandparents, Deb and Ed Keeney of Lebanon, MO; many other relatives and close friends.
Although taken from us too soon, Darion had an amazing impact on everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his incredible zest for life and incredible personality. Our loss was certainly Heaven’s gain.

I hope your dancing in the sky. I hope your singing in the angel’s choir, and I hope the angel’s know what they have, because I am missing you so bad. Until I kiss you face, and run my fingers through you’re hair again, I will be missing you my love.
